Re-design and prototype of low fidelity clickable wireframe

rE-DESIGN AND PROTOTYPE Testing

A/B Testing

A/B Testing of the accessability app on the free people website homepage, could be done to see which filter (plug in) would be most suitable for the button on the accessability app.

Goal is to improve accessibility and higher conversion rates into leads such as sign-ups.

Test A to be a slider for intensity of contrast colour, enables you to build contrast of colour to as little to as much as the user prefers.

Test B to be an On/Off slider button to change to a dyslexic font . Click on button to slide on and off dyslexic font.

I think that having a drop down feature such as a slider to improve colour contrast will result in more accessibility and ease of use.

A/B Testing

A/B TESTING

Version A

Colour Contrast slider

Colour contrast slider to build intensity gradually

Version B

On/Off button for colour intensity one click and one choice of colour intensity.

  • Hypothesise that the colour contast slider will perform better than the on/off button, I think this due to giving the user more choice of intensity of colour contrast.

I will run an A/B test for at least 48 hours through the online software such as Google Optimise.

I will then evaluate the results and implement the best performing feature as required.

I will also run a card sorting experiment to organise the Architecture of the accessibility app.

Card Sorting activity on-going as seen in the below link:

System Usability scale (sus) questionnaire

Based on re-design of website accessibility app.

Having re-designed the prototype implementing the desired solution to solve the users problem with accessibility, colour contrast and size of text.  I will now perform a System Usability Scale questionnaire again with the original 2 participants, to measure the results against a structured criteria of questions that will gauge the success of implementing the changes to the Free People website.

Results of the questionnaire are as follows:

Questionnaire Results

Average score: 81.5 which is excellent
